Hi,
I downloaded Mediacreationtool.exe. I ran it. It asked for 2 options. As I already have Windows 10 Pro Insider preview I selected upgrade this PC.
For those looking planning to do in-place upgrades to migrate from Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1 to Windows 10 using System Center Configuration Manager task sequences (described here), you might be interested in doing a “trial run” with existing systems to identify machines that may have issues.
It took around an hour to download and then verification process. It took another 10 minutes for media creation.. something like that.
After so much of time and downloading huge amount of data, It finally gave a message:
'Windows 10 couldn't start properly. Reboot and run the setup again.'
Now I don't have any idea about the downloaded setup Windows 10 data. It never asked the location to download it. It directly started. I searched temp but there are so many files and folders with alphanumeric names that it's not possible to figure it out.
Windows 10 is becoming a real headache for me now. Menu doesn't work. PC settings won't open. Windows update doesn't work. It's completely f*cked up. Now when I try to upgrade, same thing came again.
Windows 10 Setup Exe Download
I can't boot a fresh copy because I have so much of data on my laptop.
Run Setup Exe Windows 10
Please someone tell me where can I find the downloaded data to upgrade my laptop.
